Like weeding goat’s heads

Goat’s heads are THE weed you don’t want in your backyard. And yet they come, hiding under other weeds, looking so innocent with their pretty little yellow flowers. They can’t be that bad, you think the first time you see them. You just have to step on them with your bare feet or have to untangle the menacing seed heads from your pet’s hair, and you KNOW they are bad.
Let me propose to be the gardener of your heart. To help you take the weeds out of it. The root of a goat’s head is like a traumatic event. Traumatic is a big word, but really, anything can be traumatic and get lodged in your heart with its painful emotions ( the goat’s head seed pods) and attached beliefs ( the leaves).
To get a goat’s head out, you have to go gently, find all the branches, get to the root and pull the whole thing.
I say ‘ yes!’ each time I uproot one and you will too.
